Delivery
We deliver across New York City. Delivery time and any charge depend on your address and the size of the order, so please call (646) 604-2613 when you place your order and we will confirm both before anything is cut.
Returns
Fresh meat and poultry are cut to order, so we cannot take them back once they have left the shop. If something is wrong with your order, call us the same day on (646) 604-2613 and we will put it right.

These birds are alive when you walk in. You pick the one you want, watch it weighed, and you pay after you have chosen – no guessing, no surprises at the counter.
Every bird is zabiha halal and is slaughtered and cleaned right in front of you at our Woodside shop. Nothing here has been frozen, and nothing was cut before you arrived.

Which chicken should you buy?
The white medium is the everyday bird most of our customers take home – tender, quick to cook, and the right size for a family meal, a roast or biryani. If you are making a slow curry and want firmer meat, try our live hard chicken. For something smaller, there is the live baby white chicken.

Is the meat really halal?
Yes. Every bird and animal is slaughtered zabiha halal by hand at our shop, and you are welcome to watch it being done.
Can I pick the animal myself?
Yes – that is the whole point of a live market. You choose it, we weigh it in front of you, and you pay after you have chosen.
Will you cut it the way I want?
Yes. Whole, skin on or skin removed, curry pieces in the size you ask for, quartered, or breast and leg kept separate. Just tell us at the counter.
How much is a goat or a lamb?
Goat and lamb are priced by weight, so the price depends on the animal you choose. Call (646) 604-2613 for today’s rate.
Do you do flame-singed skin?
Yes. For goat and lamb you can have the traditional flame-singed skin done on the spot, or have the skin removed. Tell us which when you order.
