Delivery
We deliver across New York City. Delivery time and any charge depend on your address and the size of the order, so please call (646) 604-2613 when you place your order and we will confirm both before anything is cut.
Returns
Fresh meat and poultry are cut to order, so we cannot take them back once they have left the shop. If something is wrong with your order, call us the same day on (646) 604-2613 and we will put it right.
Live Goat – Front Part (Baby Goat, Zabiha Halal)
The front part of a young goat is the shoulder, neck and front legs – the cuts with the most connective tissue, which is exactly why they taste best after a long, slow cook. Shoulder is what you want for a proper goat curry.
Our goats are live at the shop in Woodside. You see the animal, we weigh it in front of you, and the zabiha halal slaughter is done on the spot by hand.

Tell us which you want when you order. We cut it into curry pieces, bone-in or boneless, in the size you ask for.

Is the meat really halal?
Yes. Every bird and animal is slaughtered zabiha halal by hand at our shop, and you are welcome to watch it being done.
Can I pick the animal myself?
Yes – that is the whole point of a live market. You choose it, we weigh it in front of you, and you pay after you have chosen.
Will you cut it the way I want?
Yes. Whole, skin on or skin removed, curry pieces in the size you ask for, quartered, or breast and leg kept separate. Just tell us at the counter.
How much is a goat or a lamb?
Goat and lamb are priced by weight, so the price depends on the animal you choose. Call (646) 604-2613 for today’s rate.
Do you do flame-singed skin?
Yes. For goat and lamb you can have the traditional flame-singed skin done on the spot, or have the skin removed. Tell us which when you order.
